It’s odd to think that I have called Toronto home for many decades now and yet, despite having been to New York Fashion Week several times, I have not experienced all that is Toronto Fashion Week    …. until now.

Tonight I have experienced the first of three shows I am attending. I did have a curiosity about the uber talented Zoran Dobric   …so a fabulous start!

Of Serbian descent and Croatian born, it is a small wonder that he spins global influences into his beautiful collections.

Currently based in Toronto, Zoran has been educated at the London College of Fashion, University of Arts in London and the Instituto Marangoni     in Milan. Published in many magazines and books across North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia, his style has an edginess that speaks to many.

The flowing gorgeousness with an element of structural design was fresh.

What a great venue to have the show at the Gardiner Museum… a great, design focussed space on any day, but perfect for this show.

And yes…can’t lie, I had to walk over to the Four Seasons dBar with friends for a post show bevvie…. perhaps the best Cosmopolitans in the city….what better way to end the evening.
